Multi-Floor Industrial Workshop Project in Zhongshan, Guangdong

Confidential

Project Location
Zhongshan, Guangdong, China
Completion Date
January 2026
Project Scale
800A system
Project Duration
N/A

This project addressed power distribution for an industrial workshop in Zhongshan, Guangdong, where a low-voltage cabinet on the 4th floor needed to supply power to main distribution boxes and equipment across workshops on the 1st, 4th, and 5th floors. The project involved long laying distances and diverse routing scenarios including trenches and bridges, demanding high adaptability and stability from the power distribution solution. Yanghua supplied flexible busbars in 500A, 630A, and 800A specifications tailored to different load requirements. Each single busbar run matched the corresponding current demand without the need for multiple parallel cables, significantly conserving bridge space. Copper bar joints were directly drilled and overlapped. The high-flexibility busbars conformed directly to routing paths at turns, and the products shipped in trays for on-site cut-to-length use, greatly shortening the construction cycle and simplifying the overall process.

Project Background & Challenges

A 4th-floor low-voltage cabinet required distributing power across three different floors through long-distance trench and bridge routes, where multi-cable assemblies would consume excessive bridge space and complicate multi-scenario and multi-floor installation logistics.

  • Cross-floor power distribution from the 4th floor to the 1st, 4th, and 5th floors created long routing distances with varying installation scenarios
  • Mixed routing environments (trenches, bridges) placed high demands on the adaptability and mechanical stability of the power distribution solution
  • Multiple cable assemblies would have consumed excessive bridge space and created complex, joint-heavy installations
  • Conventional solutions would require extensive prefabrication and long construction timelines for multi-floor deployment

Solution

Yanghua deployed a multi-specification flexible busbar solution (500A, 630A, 800A) with single-run per circuit design, eliminating parallel cables. The busbars were shipped in trays for on-site cutting, directly conformed to turns without prefabricated bends, and used direct copper bar overlap joints for simple field connections.

  • Three flexible busbar ratings (500A, 630A, 800A) precisely matched the current demands of each floor's equipment loads
  • Single busbar per circuit eliminated space-intensive parallel cable assemblies, conserving bridge capacity for other services
  • Direct copper bar overlap joints at connection points simplified field termination and reduced specialized labor requirements
  • Tray-based shipping with on-site cut-to-length capability dramatically shortened the construction cycle and streamlined logistics
