This project is located in Ningbo, Zhejiang. The owner selected 1600A and 2000A universal flexible busbars for connections from low-voltage cabinets to workshop power cabinets. In this project, the current-carrying capacity of a single flexible busbar reaches 1600A and 2000A, which eliminates the need for multiple parallel conductor runs and simplifies the overall electrical layout. The flexible busbar solution enables easier wiring in narrow construction spaces, supports cable bridge routing, and provides high flexibility for convenient overlapping and termination.

Project Background & Challenges

The manufacturing facility required reliable high-current power distribution from low-voltage cabinets to workshop power cabinets within narrow construction spaces. Conventional multi-conductor parallel layouts would have been complex to install, prone to hot spots, and difficult to manage in the confined routing environment.

  • Narrow construction space between low-voltage cabinets and workshop power cabinets complicated wiring and routing
  • Multi-conductor parallel layouts in traditional systems increased installation complexity and heat point risks at connection nodes
  • Rigid busbar systems lacked the bending flexibility needed for complex routing paths in confined areas
  • Need for a solution that could deliver up to 2000A without requiring de-rating or excessive parallel runs

Solution

Yanghua provided 1600A and 2000A universal flexible busbars that deliver full rated current in a single conductor. The compact, flexible design allowed organized routing through cable bridges, simplified overlapping, and eliminated the need for complex multi-conductor paralleling.

  • Deployed 1600A and 2000A universal flexible busbars with single-conductor high current-carrying capacity to eliminate parallel wiring
  • Routed flexible busbars through cable bridges for organized, space-efficient, and aesthetically clean layout
  • High mechanical flexibility enabled convenient overlapping and simplified installation in tight, constrained spaces
  • Universal design ensured compatibility with standard termination hardware, reducing custom engineering requirements
