Yanghua provided a flexible busbar power distribution solution for a new energy battery factory project in Suzhou, Jiangsu. The original design called for a multi-cable parallel assembly running from the bus duct to the low-voltage power cabinet. Due to the project's substantial current carrying requirements, the bundled cable solution was not only bulky but also introduced excessive joint points and created significant construction difficulties. The project ultimately selected Yanghua's TMRYV-1600A flexible busbar, which delivers strong current carrying capacity with a small bending radius, making it easy to route through corner turns. The overall compact volume effectively conserved installation space, enabling efficient and reliable power distribution for the new energy manufacturing facility.

Project Background & Challenges

The new energy battery factory's high current carrying requirements made a multi-cable parallel assembly excessively bulky, with numerous joint points creating installation complexity and reliability concerns in a manufacturing environment that demanded space efficiency.

  • High current carrying requirement (1600A) made traditional multi-cable parallel assembly excessively bulky and difficult to route
  • Excessive number of cable joints in the original design introduced multiple potential failure points and increased construction labor
  • Corner turns in the factory layout posed significant routing difficulties for stiff, large-diameter bundled cables
  • Limited installation space around bus ducts and power cabinets required a compact, space-efficient solution

Solution

Yanghua supplied the TMRYV-1600A flexible busbar, achieving the required current capacity in a single compact run with a tight bending radius that navigated corner turns effortlessly, replacing the cumbersome multi-cable assembly and conserving significant installation space.

  • Single-run TMRYV-1600A flexible busbar replaced the entire multi-cable parallel assembly with equivalent current carrying capacity
  • Small bending radius enabled seamless routing through factory corner turns without special fittings or elbows
  • Dramatically reduced total joint count, streamlining installation and improving long-term power distribution reliability
  • Compact busbar form factor conserved valuable installation space around bus duct and cabinet termination points

Project Results
