Hangzhou Wanxiang Innovation Energy City — 3200A Flexible Busbar for Battery Industry Power
Confidential
This project is located in the Wanxiang Innovation Energy City, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou — one of the world's leading battery industry bases. The original connection solution between diesel generators and low-voltage cabinets was prohibitively expensive and difficult to construct within the narrow installation space. The owner ultimately selected Yanghua's high-current flexible busbar. The project primarily uses a 3200A general-purpose flexible busbar in double-split configuration to connect the diesel generator to low-voltage cabinet. The product features a compact form factor and high flexibility, adapting seamlessly to the owner's original narrow construction space. Moreover, a single conductor delivers large current-carrying capacity, eliminating the need for multiple parallel runs. Installation is convenient, the construction period is short, and the solution saves the owner substantial cost.
Project Background & Challenges
The Wanxiang Innovation Energy City required 3200A power connections between diesel generators and low-voltage cabinets. The originally proposed conventional solution was extremely expensive and difficult to install in the narrow construction space, threatening both budget and timeline.
- Original proposed connection solution between diesel generator and low-voltage cabinet was prohibitively expensive
- Narrow construction space made traditional rigid busbar or multi-cable installation extremely difficult and labor-intensive
- 3200A total power requirement demanded a high-capacity connection solution without excessive space consumption
- Project budget and timeline were under pressure due to the cost and complexity of the originally planned solution
Solution
Yanghua supplied a 3200A general-purpose flexible busbar in double-split configuration. The compact, highly flexible design fit perfectly within the existing narrow space, while single-conductor high capacity eliminated parallel runs. The solution reduced both material costs and installation time significantly.
- Deployed 3200A general-purpose flexible busbar in double-split configuration for diesel generator-to-LV cabinet connection
- Compact, highly flexible busbar design adapted seamlessly to the existing narrow construction space without structural modifications
- Single-conductor high carrying capacity eliminated the need for multiple parallel runs, significantly reducing material and labor costs
- Simplified installation process shortened the overall construction period and brought the project back within budget
