The SCPG Center Huawei Supercharging Station, recognized as a national (Shenzhen) climate investment and financing demonstration project and a new energy vehicle supercharging comprehensive experience center, was officially put into operation in October 2023. Yanghua Science and Technology's patented high-current flexible busbars (3200A and 800A ratings) were successfully deployed in the project's 600kW taxi supercharging station. The flexible busbars supply power to Huawei's supercharging hosts more efficiently, faster, and safer than conventional solutions. For ride-hailing and commercial fleet applications requiring rapid charging, the system achieves 200 kilometers of range in the time it takes to enjoy a cup of coffee. The DC supercharging terminal employs liquid cooling for heat dissipation, with output specifications of 1000V/600A and 600kW output power. The demonstration effect of this project promotes sustainable low-carbon development in the industrial and commercial building sector.
Project Background & Challenges
Powering a 600kW liquid-cooled supercharging host with ultra-high current demands required a power distribution solution capable of safely and efficiently delivering 3200A while fitting within the space constraints of a compact urban charging station.
