Guangzhou Panyu Industrial and Commercial Energy Storage Project
Confidential
This industrial and commercial energy storage project is located in Panyu, Guangzhou, and adds energy storage capacity to optimize and upgrade the park's power system. The project was completed and accepted for power on April 4, 2024. The main challenges included an extremely short project cycle, limited construction space, tight construction timeline, and stringent requirements for equipment compactness and heat dissipation performance. Yanghua's flexible busbar solution deployed three models: TMRVV-500A, TMRVV-1250A, and TMRVV-1600A, connecting the power distribution cabinets and grid-connected cabinets within the power distribution room. The integrated laying approach eliminated the need for additional joints, significantly saving time and labor costs. While ensuring stable and reliable product performance, the flexible busbar was laid quickly and conveniently, enabling the self-consumption energy storage cabinets to be energized and put into service as soon as possible.
Project Background & Challenges
The project faced a combination of extremely short cycle time, limited construction space, tight schedule, and demanding requirements for equipment volume minimization and heat dissipation performance, all needing to be resolved simultaneously for a successful deployment.
- Extremely compressed project schedule demanded accelerated installation and commissioning with zero margin for delay
- Confined power distribution room space left minimal clearance for traditional cable routing and joint fabrication work
- High ambient temperatures in the enclosed electrical room required exceptional heat dissipation from all power connection components
- Multiple current ratings needed across different cabinet connections, requiring a flexible product range to avoid over-engineering
Solution
Yanghua deployed TMRVV series flexible busbars in 500A, 1250A, and 1600A ratings using an integrated single-piece laying method without joints, achieving rapid installation in confined spaces with excellent heat dissipation.
- Supplied TMRVV-1600A, TMRVV-1250A, and TMRVV-500A flexible busbars, precisely matched to each circuit's current requirement for optimal sizing and cost efficiency
- Adopted integrated single-piece laying without intermediate joints, accelerating installation and eliminating joint fabrication time
- Leveraged the compact, flat profile of TMRVV series busbars for efficient routing within the confined power distribution room
- Achieved superior natural heat dissipation through the busbar's flat conductor geometry, avoiding the need for forced cooling even in the enclosed electrical room
